    Using Voki

    What is Voki?

Voki is an outstanding tool that allows us to make speaking characters and then we can use it in our own blogs and webpages. They are good since they engage students, introduce technology in the classroom and enhances the learning of a second language.

    Take a look at: http://www.voki.com/

    Homework:
    • Create your own Voki.
    Instructions:
    • Summarise what we have seen in class today (vocabulary or grammar).
    • Go through different accents and use the US accent for one Voki.
    • Make another Voki with your own voice.
    • Use different characters and backgrounds.
    Evaluation

We will assess the Voki activity with:
    • 25 %: Voki with a US accent.
    • 25 %: Voki with your own voice.
    • 15 %: Use of different characters.
    • 15 %: Use of different backgrounds.
    • 20 %: Summarising properly the vocabulary or grammar.

You have one of my examples here:

    Hope you enjoy the activity!
